Jacob & Hefner Associates, Inc. (JHA) has been retained by the Oak Park Elementary School District #97 as their
Environmental Consultant. JHA reviewed architectural drawings and conducted thorough asbestos, lead‐based
paint and indoor air quality inspections for the district. Inspections for construction related work focused on all
suspect building materials scheduled to be disturbed during renovation activities. JHA developed detailed
environmental abatement project manual including all applicable specifications and design drawings. JHA
coordinated the public bidding process, reviews bids and recommended the award to the qualified contractor. JHA
conducted all the onsite project management services including contractor compliance, air monitoring and
recordkeeping during environmental abatement/remediation projects. JHA conducted project management for all the projects and kept the project on time and within budget. JHA completed final asbestos abatement summary
reports and sent all applicable reports and paper work to local, state, and federal agencies.
